Would using a non-Sealy® base void the warranty of my mattress?

Sealy® mattresses are designed to be supported by a solid, flat surface - similar to what our foundations/adjustable bases provide. Using any base or foundation that does not provide proper support could impact the warranty of the mattress.

A proper bed frame must continuously support the box spring. For king and queen sets, a rigid center support having at least five legs or a rigid center support having at least five hardwood cross slats is necessary. A rigid center support is as crucial as the four standard legs (one at each corner) for ensuring your sleep set has the proper balance and support necessary.

Our mattresses have only been tested for compatibility with Tempur-Pedic®, Sealy® and Stearns and Foster® bases/foundations.
