People with mild latex allergies may not have problems sleeping on latex mattresses as latex allergies are typically activated through direct skin contact. The latex in our mattresses is covered with several layers of material including a mattress cover, a mattress protector and sheets so you do not have direct contact.
If you’re unsure about whether you have a latex allergy or not, you should discuss the possibility of a latex sensitivity with your physician or a board-certified allergist before purchasing a latex mattress. It is always best to be safe if you have any concerns. If you have a severe allergy or are unsure you may want to avoid a latex mattress and choose one of our other latex free options.
