Sealy® products are regulated by a number of federal governmental authorities, including the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC). Additionally, all Sealy® mattresses are compliant with 16 CFR 1633, LSC-101, and are CertiPur certified, meaning they are made without:
-Ozone depleters
-PBDEs, TDCPP or TCEP (”Tris”) flame retardants
-Mercury, lead, and other heavy metals
-Formaldehyde
-Phthalates regulated by the Consumer Product Safety Commission
-Low VOC (Volatile Organic Compound) emissions for indoor air quality (less than 0.5 parts per million)
